Faux Lobster Makes a Fabulous Dip

Liars’ "Lobster" Dip
    Get the fresh seafood flavor and rich goodness of lobster without spending a fortune.  This makes at least 12 servings of tangy dip to be served with raw vegetables, crackers, tortilla chips or a platter of all three.

2 jars, 15 ounces each, Monterey Jack queso
16-ounce package imitation lobster, thawed and chopped fine
4-ounce can chopped green chilies, well drained
1 cup chunky salsa (mild, medium or hot)
    Put everything in a 4-quart slow cooker, stir well and heat through. This could take less than an hour on High, stirring occasionally, or up to two hours on Low. Serve as a dip.    
    Cook’s note: this can also be plated in individual servings and served nachos style as a first course. Place small piles of tortilla chips on 12 plates and spoon warm dip over them. Serve at once.
